Our Dogs
The world is filling up with technology but the security dog still has no rival, the security dog is the very best deterrent available. Our dogs live with their handlers. This builds up loyalty, trust and understanding between dog and handler, which comes into its own in a live situation.
As members of NASDU (National Association of Security Dog Users), CAPS Security Ltd. follows a strict code of practice for the care and use of security dogs. Our handlers and dogs must pass annual assessment by an accredited NASDU and BIPDT (British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers) trainer.
All our security dogs are trained to pick up and indicate to the handler the presence of a person / people in its patrol area. They are also trained to accept other people in their environment and to only react if a threat is made against the handler.
The handler and security dog team presents a formidable psychological deterrent. The intruder knows he cannot hide from the security dog, he doesn’t want to fight the dog, ..... the dog doesn’t bluff. Our security dogs can work the toughest assignments and any terrain to give the handler absolute personal security.
